The Oasis Journey...
Mastery over Perfection
The point of this Program is not to reach perfection; only to pursue an equilibrium. An equilibrium not only of the body, but as well the spirit, mind, socio-emotional self and last but not least finances. But just like the theory of equilibrium, this program assumes that not only is perfect impossible, but it's a good target to aim at and best observed not by seeing the self as one whole per se, but multiple subsystems of fluctuating harmony and disharmony between one another.
In other words, just seeing the body as what is breathing or the respiratory system, for example, would limit oneself to severely neglecting the circulatory and digestive system. When exploring the system you see that they are more than interdependent on one another, but seem to have been created for one another. In the same way you quickly can observe that one's spiritual state can be strengthened or weakened by one's greatly affected one's socio-emotional state. And that one's financial status can have an impact on one's mind. It is worse to act as if a person is not affected by these components or that they don't "exist". But further studies often leads one to see the benefit and wisdom that comes with seeing how 2 or more of the parts of the self interplay in an endless dance with one another.
An even greater wisdom is cycling through the 5 parts of the self with each cup of existence/experience filling up the other cup in a potentially boundless way. Hence the name - Oasis.
But it's just that, not Eden. Not perfection. If you seek to pursue "perfection" than this is not the place for you. Mastery? Yes. Perfection, definitely not. In fact it is expected that one will never be perfect in all 5 categories. The fact that there are 5 categories does not means its an exhaustive or all encompassing list but an expanded guidepost to go on, based on the many needs that have to be met and maintained a while ago.
